Résumé

This study investigates the effectiveness of Direct Written Corrective Feedback in reducing grammar errors in EFL learners’ essays. The study used an experimental design. It compared two groups of students. While the experimental group received direct correction on their writings, the control group received no feedback. During the experiment, students wrote essays, and their error rates were carefully analyzed. The findings revealed that the control group showed no improvement. Meanwhile, the students who received direct feedback made statistically significant progress, particularly in their use of adjectives and plural forms. This indicates that direct correction improves accuracy in writing.
